Central Pennsylvania Trout Trip

                                Central Pennsylvania Trout Trip

Our group just returned from a few days of fishing in Central Pennsylvania. The fishing was great. We caught a bunch of Rainbow and Brown trout and a few of the guys caught Brook trout as well. Some of the guys landed the biggest fish of their fly fishing careers.

We stayed in a quaint Pennsylvania farmhouse surrounded by Amish farms, trout streams and forested hillsides.  When we arrived Tuesday afternoon, a few of the guys headed straight for Big Fishing Creek to try out their skills.  Big Fishing Creek winds its way through the valley about fifty yards in front of the house.

After warming up on Big Fishing Creek, we spent the next few days exploring Spruce Creek, Spring Creek, Bald Eagle Creek, Cedar Run and Little Pine Creek.  All of these streams and more are within an hour of the lodge.

I had a great trip with the group and couldn't have asked for a better group.  I am looking forward to getting back to Pennsylvania in November for more of the same.  The guides say that November is the best fishing of the year. I will have full details for the November trip very soon.
