Fly Fishing in Belize September 2016

Bucket List Alert!!
Join us in Belize.
Extremely Limited Space Left

Join D&H for an amazing saltwater adventure to Belize.  We will be staying at the renowned El Pescador Lodge.  Our long time fly fishing school instructor and his wife, Brian & Julie Barnard, were there this past September, and will be your hosts for this trip.

The Fishing

The Caribbean waters in and around El Pescador are home to incredible schools of bonefish, resident and migratory tarpon, and giant permit. In addition, there are good numbers of barracuda, snapper, jack, and snook. If you ever wanted to land a Grand Slam-Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish- this is the place to do it.

A typical day includes 8 hours of guided fishing from a flats boat.  You and your fishing partner will take turns at the front of the boat casting over schools of bonefish, tarpon and permit. After a great day on the water, your guide will bring you back to the resort with plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon.  You can relax poolside, play a game of pool, enjoy a drink at the bar, or plan other adventures like fishing in front of the lodge, kayaking, scuba diving, getting a massage, or snorkeling. There is no shortage of great things to do!

Food and Lodging

The trip includes staying in the main lodge at El Pescador.  Your room will be a few giant steps from the pool, the beach, the bar and tailing bonefish!  You just can’t beat it.

All meals are done family style with dinners including items like steak, shrimp, lobster tails, fresh fish, etc.  All meals, drinks (including alcohol) and appetizers are included in the price of the trip.

Weather
Given the proximity to the equator, the temperature in Belize remains relatively constant all year.  During September, you can expect temperatures in the upper 80’s.  It is very pleasant.
