Six Nations Rugby

Last weekend England handed Scotland a decisive loss at Twickenham with a 38-18 score.  Billy Twelvetrees scored a debut try and saw plenty of time with the ball.

France vs Wales  February 9, 2013
I am watching France vs Wales right now and Wales has so far had most of the play.  The big story of the day so far is the pitch.  It is in bad condition and pieces are rolling up with every scrum.  It has to be a factor as there is no sure footing to be had.  The folks at Stade de France have some serious work to do on this pitch.
France is powering their way forward right now and providing much excitement, but they lost the ball and Wales just cleared the ball with a good kick.
France is threatening again and Wales is holding tight.  Wales defenders a really sticking to it and making France work hard.
The possession time is on Wales side with 60% and they have been on the French side of the pitch for the majority of the time (65%), but the score is still 3-3.
We are in the second half and France was within yards of a try and instead of pushing on a kick is tried and missed.  Wrong decision!
There has not been too much excitement and the score is now 6-6.
Wales is pushing, pushing and they go to the left and with a little kick and a quick pick up by George North a try is scored for WALES!! Wales 13 France 6
The match is over and Wales has won 16-6.

Scotland beat Italy early today 34-10.
I saw some clips and Stuart Hogg had an exciting breakaway try.

So now everyone has 2 points except for France.
