Winter Upland Trip: Winghaven Hunting Lodge

If you usually start feeling a bit restless or bored come February, then we have the solution. Kiss cabin fever goodbye this winter. D&H invites you to travel with us down to the Winghaven hunting lodge in western Kentucky.

Luke and Neil want to share some of Kentucky’s best quail hunting with you. This is as close to traditional wild bird hunting as we can get without traveling to Texas. This is your chance to break out that old side-by-side and dig your old hunting jacket out for one last hunt this season. Winghaven hunting lodge in Providence, Kentucky will be our host for this weekend of flushing birds and classic dog work. Winghaven is located in Western Kentucky near the confluence of the Ohio, Tennessee, and Cumberland rivers. The small fields and brushy fence lines will bring back memories of the bird hunting we all grew up enjoying.

The trip dates are February 14-17. We will hunt the Febraury 15 and 16th. The trip will include meals and lodging, and two days of great quail hunting. Winghaven is also excited to shar their Bourbon Bar. The bar includes many of the regional favorites. Our host, Russel Edwards, will be readying the fields for us. There will be plenty of shooting for everyone and great dogs watch work.

The price of the trip is $1627.00. If you have any questions regarding the trip details please contact Luke Sedacca at (513)871-3474 or via e-mail at shop@bestgear.com.
