D&H Travel Evening- January 26.

Please join us Tuesday, January 26 beginning at 6:30 for review of a few great travel opportunities, including the South Holston River Lodge, El Pescador Belize, as well our traditional Bahama and Montana trips. 

SOUTH HOLSTON RIVER LODGE

 

Our good friends, Jon Hooper and Tony Marcucci, will be here to discuss the South Holston River Lodge and the fishing on the South Holston and Watauga Rivers. Tony and Jon manage the South Holston River Lodge and guide full time. D&H did a trip with these guys back in the spring and were extremely impressed with the quality of the lodge, employees, and fishing. This lodge in my opinion is one of the better lodges in the East and offers great fishing opportunities throughout the year. The South Holston reminded me of classic western waters. It is also a great spot for those who may not wade the same as they used to since much of the fishing is done via drift boat. Many people have shown interest in this trip.

EL PESCADOR BELIZE

Additionally, Brian Barnard, our fly fishing instructor, will be presenting a trip he is hosting to Belize later this year. He will be showing pictures from his trip to “El Pescador” for bonefish, tarpon, and permit.  Brian took his wife down there last September.  Both of them managed to catch many bonefish as well as tarpon and Brian landed a few permit.
