We just received our first shipment of Hatch reels. This is pretty exciting news for us.This is a California
reel company that is turning out some extremely durable and practical
reels for both freshwater and saltwater. These reels are manufactured totally within the U.S. Please stop in our Hyde Park Square shop in Cincinnati and let us show you the new addition to our reel case.
We brought in the Finatic 4 Plus, 5 Plus, and 7 Plus. These three reels will cover rod weights 4-9. These reels have become a standard choice for many serious fishermen, especially those going to tackle big fish in the salt. If enjoy watching any of the new adventure type fishing videos, you can usually spot at least a few Hatch reels (and Scott Rods) doing some hard and dirty work.
Take-down, maintenance, and retrieve change are all quite easy due to the fully sealed drag.
Nick, Louis, and Alex, got a few of these reels earlier in the year and have all caught fish on them. They have been pleased with their ease of use, durability, and smooth drag.
